St. Timothy's Church has a heart for expecting mothers and their unborn children. Our desire is to support with prayer support, social support, and physical support mothers who are making the choice for life, and to promote education on pro-life issues.
The following is a video by Catholic Mediahouse, and it has been an inspiration for St. Timothy's Church as we pray and seek the Lord's will on how we can work for the sanctity of every life.
How can I help?
St. Timothy's collects supplies to contribute to the Pregnancy Center West crisis pregnancy center in Baltimore, Maryland. Every time we fill a dresser with supplies, they are donated to the pregnancy center. Here are some items that P.C. West has specifically requested:
- Baby shampoo
- Baby oil
- Baby bath wash
- Baby powder - cornstarch powder only
- Diaper cream
- Crib Sheets
- Hooded bath towels
- Disposable wipes
- Infant toys & rattles
- Pacifiers
- Booties or infant socks
- Packages of onesies or undershirts for ages 0 to 9 months
- Sleepers for ages 0 to 9 months
- Outfits for ages 0 to 9 months.
We ask that all clothing items be in new or like new condition. Thank you for your generosity! Our first dresser full was donated during the week of February 15th, 2009. As of this update, we are working on our third dresser-full.
St. Timothy's is also working to foster a partnership with Anglicans for Life.
