Our Purpose for being a Church

St. Timothy’s Purpose Statement

We exist to purposefully equip each person in our church with a working knowledge of scripture[1]; to humbly and effectively articulate a lively faith[2]; to effectively identify and defend against false teaching and doctrine[3]; to habitually engage in evangelism[4]; to serve others in Christ's Name[5] and to live a life worthy of the Gospel[6], to the honor and glory of God the Father.

How will we accomplish this?

We are aware that our purpose takes our lifetimes and is solely a work of Grace.  In light of that we also purpose to walk patiently with Christ and seek Him through:

Worship, sermons, small group involvement, prayer, study, and service to our community and the world.

Our hope is to win as many people as we can for the sake of Christ.

Our desire is to make the Gospel real for our community.

Our lives are to be a credible witness - be real, authentic, be like Jesus.

Now you know why we exist.  Why not come and take a look?
