The Fall 2009 session begins on Wednesday, September 16th, and meets every other Wednesday for the rest of the year. What is MOPS?
MOPS is an international ministry designed to come alongside YOU during this season of early mothering.
Karen, Erica, Amy, Amy, Jeannie, and Chrissie enjoy Tea and Testimony, an annual highlight on the MOPS calendar.
What do we do at MOPS?
- Enjoy light fare
- Fellowship with other moms
- Learn from different speakers about marriage, mothering, and woomanhood
- Share small group discussions
- Learn a life skill
- Create a craft project
Holly, Tina, Chrissy, and mentor mom Nancy make cards together. MOPS learn several productive crafts over the course of a semester-long program.
Where & When do we meet?
The Spring Session starts Wednesday, January 14th and continues on alternate Wednesdays until May 6th. We meet at St. Timothy's Church in the Old Parish Hall from 9:00-11:20 a.m. You can also visit MOPS Calendar Page.
Is there a fee?
Yes. Fees help to cover food, crafts, speaker fees and childcare.
- $37.00 for moms with infants (up to 5 months)
- $53.00 for moms with one child (5 months & older)
- $73.00 for moms with two children
- $89.00 for moms with three children
Speaker Olivia Sweeney is introduced by MOPS coordinator Becky Valentine. This past year, speakers gave testimonies and discussed topics like fitness and organization.
What happens with the pre-schoolers?
Children are cared for in the Moppets program, where they hear Bible stories and do crafts.
Moppets Tyra, Zion, Jack, and Beau get to play, do activities, hear stories, and have snack time with other children while their moms fellowship.
