Dr. Carey, the 103rd Archbishop of Canterbury, retired, suggests that Christmas is being "airbrushed" from the camvass of British (and I would add American) life. We must follow St. Paul as he says in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation . . . . " Should we simply stand by and remain silent as Christmas is slowly yet progressively being removed from the landscape of our lives?
