How and Why would you want to become a member of St. Timothy's Church of Catonsville?
How to join. . . .
First, come to worship and participate! Worship the name of Jesus and share in the Eucharist with fellow believers. Fill out a yellow visitor's card so we can get to know you better. Let us know what your interests are, and keep an ear open for ministries that sound interesting to you.
Second, stick around for fellowship and Christian Education after church on Sundays. Enjoy refreshments and get to know fellow church goers.
Third, pray. Ask God if this is the place He wants you to grow your roots in.
Fourth, let us know that you would like to join. We acknowledge new members in our Sunday services about once a year; we can let you know when the next such occasion will be.
Fifth, read and sign our Membership Covenant.
Why join us?
There are any number of reasons to become a member of the church at which you worship. The single and most important reason is this: If you've figured out that God wants you here, that's reason enough. If He doesn't - we certainly can't trump Him.
